Writings

For me, writing is about self discovery. I write more to learn than to teach. On these pages you won't find the world's most beautiful prose, but you will find a window into my authentic self.

I love long form investigative journalism and philosophical essays. Below are some of the rare opportunities I have had to write in those formats.

Wanaka

A long form environmental essay adapted from an honors thesis I wrote in Boulder in 2014. This is the story of an epic road trip I took in my grandfathers Datsun to Northern Canada, investigating the tar sands and their effects on Indigenous populations.

I believe that we could build a more just, equitable, and sustainable world simply by being honest.
